Money Monday!

According to the FTC, “Consumers in 2021 reported losing about $770 million to fraud initiated on social media—about one-fourth of all reported fraud losses for the year and an 18-fold increase from 2017.”

Our office is hearing from clients and others about romance scams, Bitcoin and gift card scams, and more.  We want to remind you to remain very cautious about opportunities presented to you.  The perpetrators of these scams are very sophisticated, and our clients are using us as a resource when they are unsure whether something is legit or not.
