Jim Nelson, CRPC®

Through my years growing up a son of military parents, I have learned to adapt and thrive in changing environments. Those experiences have proved invaluable when it comes to working with clients. Helping plan to and through retirement and navigate the constant changes life throws at you is where I am my best. I look to understand our clients’ experiences by being a thoughtful listener and asking appropriate questions. I support Jay and the team to provide a genuine and inclusive client experience.

In my previous life, I was a professional athlete in the NFL, owned my own business and worked in one of the largest financial institutions in the country. My diverse experiences allow for a well-rounded perspective, providing comprehensive insight to our clients’ unique situations. 

I am a graduate of Penn State University and have completed my MBA. I maintain the Series 7, 66, Life and Health Insurance licenses. I also hold a Certified Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC® designation. When not working directly on a client issue, I am consistently keeping up to date on changing trends and industry practices to best help the business and our clients.

I reside in West Chester, PA with my wife and our 3 kids and 2 dogs. When not at work, I give my attention to my family and my church as an active volunteer and board member.  I thoroughly enjoy staying active (golf, skiing, hiking, cooking, reading) and participating in life.
